A product certified in accordance with EN 13758-2 provides documented protection against the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays. The products are labelled with an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF value), which corresponds to the protection capability. The protection capability is reduced if, for example, the product becomes worn out over time, the care instructions are not followed or if the clothing becomes wet.
